Studio Dragon has licensed the Korean remake rights for Life\u2019s Punchline<\/em> from Nippon TV.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very pleased that this acclaimed series in Japan is being adapted in Korea by Studio Dragon, a world-renowned drama production company,\u201d said Keisuke Miyata, who works in sales and licensing at Nippon TV. \u201cThis story is for anyone who has ever chased a dream, supported someone from the shadows or compared their own life to the success of others, and the series utilizes a unique storytelling technique, weaving actual comedy skits into the drama to deliver unexpected surprises and laughter, leading to pathos. I believe these universal emotions will deeply resonate with Korean viewers, and the Korean version will captivate audiences around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Life\u2019s Punchline<\/em> follows three young men in a comedy trio who decide to disband at age 28 after ten years of chasing stardom. As they face the harsh reality of having no career or savings, they find themselves in the middle of a quarter-life crisis. Their story intertwines with their biggest fan, a young woman working at a diner who was once an elite professional but now lives with her younger sister.<\/p>\n
