CBS has ordered a second season of Marshals<\/em>, a spin-off of Taylor Sheridan\u2019s Yellowstone<\/em>, after its premiere episode earlier this month was watched by 20.6 million multiplatform viewers within seven days.<\/p>\n

\u201cMarshals<\/em> delivered a breakout performance, capturing a massive audience across platforms and quickly establishing itself as one of TV\u2019s most powerful new series,\u201d said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. \u201cThe overwhelming viewer response speaks to the strength of the Yellowstone<\/em> world; the bold, character-driven storytelling from the creative team; and the dynamic cast performances led by Luke Grimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Marshals<\/em>, Grimes reprises his role as Kayce Dutton, who joins an elite unit of the U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana.<\/p>\n
