Utopai East, a joint venture led by Utopai Studios, has acquired 100 percent of the Seoul-based production company Alquimista Media.<\/p>\n
The acquisition gives Utopai East immediate depth and scale across an active pipeline of 15 scripted TV series and feature films already in development at Alquimista. The slate includes action and spy thrillers, crime and supernatural stories, fantasy and science fiction, rom-coms, family titles and period projects.<\/p>\n
Among Alquimista Media\u2019s recent projects is Bedford Park<\/em>, produced in association with the studio, with founder and CEO Hyun Park as executive producer.
