NBC has renewed St. Denis Medical<\/em> and Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> for third seasons for the 2026-27 season.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth St. Denis Medical<\/em> and Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> have delivered comedic brilliance over their first two seasons, truly connecting with our audience with hilarious characters, and remain hugely important and successful programs to our prime-time and Peacock lineup,\u201d said Lisa Katz, president of scripted content for NBC and Peacock.<\/p>\n

For the 2025-26 season, St. Denis Medical<\/em> is the only prime-time comedy across all the broadcast networks\u2014excluding FOX comedies\u2014to see season-over-season linear growth in the 18-to-49 demo. The mockumentary follows an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital and stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper and Kaliko Kauahi.<\/p>\n

Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> stars Reba McEntire as a woman who inherits her father\u2019s tavern and discovers she has a twentysomething half-sister. Other cast members include Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn.<\/p>\n
