{"id":24188,"date":"2026-01-16T12:51:49","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T17:51:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/open-casting-call-for-new-baywatch-series\/"},"modified":"2026-01-16T12:59:27","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T17:59:27","slug":"open-casting-call-for-new-baywatch-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/open-casting-call-for-new-baywatch-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Casting Call for New Baywatch Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FOX Entertainment and Fremantle will be holding an open casting call for the new FOX reboot of <em>Baywatch<\/em> in February.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe <em>Baywatch<\/em> open casting call gives actors a rare opportunity to join the team of an iconic global sensation that celebrates the California spirit and helped define LA\u2019s incomparable beach culture,\u201d said Michael Thorn, president of FOX Television Network. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to discover fresh faces with authentic SoCal energy as we bring back <em>Baywatch<\/em> for a new generation of fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The casting call is searching for actors to fill a wide range of roles, from lifeguards and beachgoers to bartenders, buddies and love interests. It will take place on February 18 at the Marina Del Rey Marriott in California. Performers are encouraged to arrive with a wardrobe that evokes a beach setting while remaining professional and avoiding overly revealing styles and costumes.<\/p>\n<p><em>Baywatch<\/em> is scheduled to begin shooting this March on L.A.\u2019s Venice Beach and on the FOX Studio Lot in Century City.
