Robina Lord-Stafford and Perry Chafe also assisted in the creation of the series. Lord-Stafford is the showrunner alongside Hawco.<\/p>\n<p><em>Saint-Pierre<\/em> follows inspector Donny \u2018Fitz\u2019 Fitzpatrick, exiled to the remote French territory in the North Atlantic, after probing a local politician\u2019s corruption. He must work together with Deputy Chief Genevi\u00e8ve \u2018Arch\u2019 Archambault to solve crimes in a place where the serene exterior hides significant criminal activity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Saint-Pierre <\/em>is a cleverly crafted detective drama that feels both singular and familiar,\u201d said Ava Knight, director of acquisitions at Fifth Season. \u201cIts enigmatic and picturesque location provides a fresh backdrop for a European-style cop show with a distinctly Canadian twist. The series is anchored by a fish-out-of-water detective duo whose warmth and humor bring to life the sharply written cases and intricate storylines that make each week\u2019s mystery irresistible.
