Plus, a pan-regional deal was signed across the CIS, including in Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><em>Conflict<\/em> explores the possibility of a proxy war breaking out in Europe. It is co-created and produced by Andrei Al\u00e9n and Aku Louhimies (<em>Unknown Soldier<\/em>, <em>Rebellion<\/em>, <em>Inheritance<\/em>), the letter of whom also directs the series. The cast features Peter Franz\u00e9n (<em>Vikings<\/em>, <em>The Gunman<\/em>, <em>Purge<\/em>), Dylan Smith (<em>Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power<\/em>,<em> Mazerunner: The Death Cure<\/em>), Nadia Forde (<em>Once Upon a Time in London<\/em>), Sara Souli\u00e9 (<em>The Man Who Died<\/em>) and Larry Lamb (<em>Eastenders<\/em>, <em>Superman<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>The thriller won best drama series and best director at the 2024 Golden Venla Awards. In France, it ranked as the number one most-watched TV show on the CANAL+ catch-up service when it premiered earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClients around the globe continue to respond to <em>Conflict<\/em>\u2019s ripped-from-the-headlines plot, its English-dominant script and fantastic international cast, its thrilling action sequences and strong, relatable female lead characters, as well as its faceless \u2018enemy,\u2019 who remains unknown throughout,\u201d said Kelly Wright, managing director of distribution at Keshet International, which handles global distribution for the show. \u201c<em>Conflict<\/em> has everything buyers and viewers are looking for right now.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Finnish thriller Conflict, produced by Backman &#038;
