When Malik, Dina and Hamza discover a mysterious artifact that grants them extraordinary powers, they join forces to find children that have been taken and separated from their families, confronting systemic oppression head on.<\/p>\n<p>The series is produced by Picture Me Rollin and bildundtonfabrik for ARD Degeto Film in Germany, with the support of Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and the German Motion Picture Fund. It is created, directed, written and executive produced by Esra and Patrick Phul, founders of Picture Me Rollin.<\/p>\n<p>The cast includes Kebir Sargin in his debut acting role, alongside David Mayonga (<em>Girl You Know It\u2019s True<\/em>, <em>Wholetrain<\/em>), Funda Bostanlik (<em>Cinayet-I Ask<\/em>, <em>Siginak<\/em>) and Pegah Ferydoni (<em>A Murder at the End of the World<\/em>, <em>Turkish for Beginners<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>All Heroes Are Bastards<\/em> exemplifies the sort of daring, market-aligned and commercially responsive storytelling that defines Global Constellation\u2019s slate,\u201d said Ulrike Schr\u00f6der, managing director of TV at Global Constellation. \u201cEsra and Patrick Phul, and the rest of the team behind this are all extraordinary creators, and we are proud to help bring their compelling vision to audiences worldwide, and the bold voices and stories that truly resonate across borders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Esra and Patrick Phul commented, \u201cOur goal was to open up a new space for German genre storytelling\u2014bold, character-driven and internationally relevant.
