But with this project, we\u2019re cannon-balling into the deep end.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The screen adaptation will explore Borg\u2019s childhood, rise to tennis superstardom\u2014including his five consecutive Wimbledon titles\u2014his decision to retire at just 26 years old and personal reinvention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly proud to have been entrusted with this unique story, about one of the greatest sports heroes of all time, Bj\u00f6rn Borg,\u201d said Mattias Olsson, head of creative at Mastiff Sweden, and Elin Kvist, CEO of Jarowskij\/Yellow Bird. \u201cThere\u2019s only one person who can tell it, and that\u2019s the cultural force of Jonas \u00c5kerlund. This is going to be a memorable biopic that must be seen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve spent my entire life in matches\u2013both on and off the court,\u201d said Borg. \u201cJonas wants to explore both sides, and I feel the time is right for that.
