Anna Kendrick (Woman of the Hour<\/em>, A Simple Favor<\/em>) and J.K. Simmons (Whiplash<\/em>, Being the Ricardos<\/em>) are set to star in AGC Television\u2019s six-part geopolitical action thriller Embassy<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Produced by Ascendant Fox and Turbine Studios, the series is being directed by John Strickland (Bodyguard<\/em>, Line of Duty<\/em>, The Flight Attendant<\/em>, The Rig<\/em>). Production is set to begin in February 2026 in London and Cologne.<\/p>\n

Embassy<\/em> follows as an American diplomat must decide whether to protect the U.S. Ambassador when armed mercenaries storm the U.S. Embassy in London or follow his orders to exfiltrate a high-value asset. As a larger conspiracy unfolds, the diplomat must rely on her instincts and the reluctant help of her ex-fianc\u00e9, a British SAS soldier.<\/p>\n

The series is created and written by Rom Lotan and executive produced by Lotan; Strickland; Ascendant Fox\u2019s Hester Ruoff, Bart Ruspoli and Matt Mitchell; Turbine\u2019s Daniel Hetzer, Jakob Neuhausser, Justin Thomson and David Tanner; AGC\u2019s Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz and Miguel A. Palos Jr.<\/p>\n
