It was originally commissioned by Viu and will air across its 15 markets. It was previously acquired for Hulu in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The ensemble cast also includes Justin Chien (<em>The Brothers Sun<\/em>), Yvonne Chapman (<em>Avatar: The Last Airbender<\/em>), Celina Jade (<em>Wolf Warrior 2<\/em>), Toby Stephens (<em>Percy Jackson and the Olympians<\/em>), K\u014dki, Lee Jae-yoon (<em>Physical 100<\/em>), Lyman Heung (<em>King Maker V<\/em>), Anson Lo and Marf Yau.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Season<\/em> is created and executive produced by Yalun Tu, who previously co-created<em> My Undead Yokai Girlfriend<\/em> and worked on series such as <em>NCIS: Hawaii<\/em> and <em>Wu Assassin<\/em>. Chilean director Marialy Rivas (<em>The Jetty<\/em>) serves as lead director. Rivas also executive produces alongside Janice Lee and Agatha Lo for PCCW Media and Chloe Dan, Matt Aragachi and Dylan Tarason for SK Global.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to have <em>The Season<\/em> stream on Hulu in the U.S. and to partner with Fremantle for international distribution, bringing this intriguing and riveting emotional ride to a global audience,\u201d said Janice Lee, managing director of PCCW Media Group and CEO of Viu. \u201cThe series will also be available on Viu across all of its markets.
