We can\u2019t wait for fans to experience everything season two has in store.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Based on Michael Connelly\u2019s best-selling novels featuring LAPD Detective Ren\u00e9e Ballard, the series follows the titular officer as she fights to earn respect in the ranks of the Cold Case Unit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re so grateful to have the chance to continue <em>Ballard<\/em>\u2019s story,\u201d commented Michael Alaimo and Kendall Sherwood, co-showrunners and executive producers. \u201cIt\u2019s a pleasure to dive deeper into these characters and this world, and seeing audiences resonate with their stories is incredibly rewarding.
