Adams and Sendhil Ramamurthy. From season one, Hugh Dennis is set to return. Season one ranks among STARZ&#8217;s highest-performing acquisitions.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Couple Next Door<\/em> is loosely adapted from the Scandi drama <em>Dopamin, <\/em>created by Kamikaze Film, and the Dutch format <em>The Neighbors<\/em>, made by Millstreet Films, which season one was based on. Produced in association with Happy Duck Films and supported by the Belgian Tax Shelter, it is distributed by Beta Film.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Couple Next Door<\/em> is written by David Allison with director Dries Vos, who are both also serving as executive producers.
