In a deal with The Ripple Effect, India\u2019s Karman Unlimited has optioned the remake rights to the Brazilian drama Love is a Stranger<\/em> from Visom Digital.<\/p>\n

The police drama, which explores gender violence, was created by Ingrid Zavarezzi and Carlos de Andrade. It premiered on AXN Brazil in October 2024 and is set to launch on Record TV this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove is a Stranger<\/em> is a story that speaks to our deepest responsibility as storytellers\u2014to shine light on issues that society too often overlooks,\u201d said de Andrade, producer at Visom Digital. \u201cWe are proud that this Brazilian story will now find new life and meaning in dialogue with audiences around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
