Created by Michael Lucas, the series\u2019 executive producers include Brett Sleigh, Sally Riley, Joanna Werner, Stuart Menzies and Emma Freeman, who also directs.<\/p>\n<p>The drama series will kick off with two episodes and then roll out new episodes weekly.<\/p>\n<p>Set in 1987-88, season two of <em>The Newsreader<\/em>\u202f dives into a nation in flux\u2014amid election drama, financial upheaval and a cultural reckoning.
