{"id":23041,"date":"2025-07-23T08:43:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-23T12:43:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/itv-studios-takes-majority-stake-in-plano-a-plano\/"},"modified":"2025-07-23T13:09:25","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T17:09:25","slug":"itv-studios-takes-majority-stake-in-plano-a-plano-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/itv-studios-takes-majority-stake-in-plano-a-plano-2\/","title":{"rendered":"ITV Studios Takes Majority Stake in Plano a Plano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ITV Studios has picked up a majority interest in Spanish scripted outfit Plano a Plano.<\/p>\n<p>Known for such shows as <em>Valeria<\/em> on Netflix, <em>El Principe<\/em> for Mediaset and <em>Servir Y Proteger <\/em>for TVE, Plano a Plano was established by producer C\u00e9sar Ben\u00edtez in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00e9sar Ben\u00edtez, CEO Emilio Amar\u00e9 and \u00c1lvaro Ben\u00edtez, executive producer, will continue to lead the Madrid- and Bilbao-based label, reporting to Lisa Perrin, ITV Studios&#8217; managing director of international.<\/p>\n<p>Plano a Plano\u2019s current slate includes <em>Suspicious Minds<\/em> on Disney+ and two upcoming titles for Netflix: the adaptation of <em>All the Truth Behind My Lies<\/em> (<em>Toda la Verdad de Mis Mentiras<\/em>) and <em>Innato<\/em> with Dynamic Television.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter admiring C\u00e9sar, Emilio and \u00c1lvaro\u2019s work for many years, I am so delighted that they have accepted our offer to join ITV Studios,\u201d Perrin said. \u201cThey bring such incredible skill, creativity and relationships.
