CJ ENM America has tapped Courteney Tarantin as its new VP of scripted TV to play a key role in the development and production of original scripted series for English-speaking and global audiences.<\/p>\n

Tarantin joins CJ ENM America from Rideback, where she was VP of television and contributed to the development and sale of scripted series to Prime Video, Paramount+, Hulu, Showtime, CBS, The CW, ABC and NBC.<\/p>\n

In her new role, Tarantin will report to Elsie Choi, executive VP and head of scripted TV at CJ ENM America. In addition to working on original scripted series, she will help adapt IP from CJ ENM\u2019s content library. She will also serve as a creative lead for scripted projects and act as a strategic link between CJ ENM\u2019s international production partners and studios in the U.S.<\/p>\n

Tarantin began her career in the TV department of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where she laid the foundation for her career in scripted television. Before Rideback, she worked at Sony Pictures Television\u2019s TriStar TV, where she was involved with series such as Shut Eye, Good Girls Revolt and The Last Tycoon.<\/p>\n
