{"id":22756,"date":"2025-06-05T11:52:31","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T15:52:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/saint-pierre-begins-filming-season-two\/"},"modified":"2025-06-05T11:53:24","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T15:53:24","slug":"saint-pierre-begins-filming-season-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/saint-pierre-begins-filming-season-two\/","title":{"rendered":"Saint-Pierre Begins Filming Season Two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hawco Productions has begun filming the second season of <em>Saint-Pierre<\/em> for CBC and CBC Gem.<\/p>\n<p>The new season will include two more episodes than the first and will continue to follow Donny \u201cFitz\u201d Fitzpatrick, who is exiled to work in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, a French territory in the Atlantic Ocean, after digging too deeply into a local politician\u2019s nefarious activity.<\/p>\n<p>Allan Hawco (<em>Republic of Doyle<\/em>, <em>Caught<\/em>, <em>Jack Ryan<\/em>) and Josephine Jobert (<em>Death in Paradise<\/em>) lead the cast, which also features James Purefoy (<em>Rome<\/em>, <em>Sex Education<\/em>, <em>The Following<\/em>), Benz Antoine (<em>Four Brothers<\/em>, <em>Get Rich or Die Tryin\u2019<\/em>), Erika Prevost (<em>The Boys<\/em>, <em>Dare Me<\/em>) and Jean-Michel Le Gal (<em>Paris Paris<\/em>, <em>Accused<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Saint-Pierre<\/em> was created by Hawco, Robina Lord-Stafford and Perry Chafe, with Hawco and Lord-Stafford as showrunners.
