Discovery\u2019s Three in New Zealand has commissioned <em>Ms. X<\/em> from Dynamic Television, Plus6Four Entertainment and South Pacific Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>The six-part crime drama will star Melissa George (<em>In Treatment<\/em>, <em>The Mosquito Coast<\/em>, <em>The Good Wife<\/em>) as a suburban mom who teams up with an old high school friend to scare her cheating husband into staying faithful. When things turn homicidal, she is pulled into the criminal underworld. Dynamic Television will be handling international distribution of the series.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ms. X<\/em> is written and created by Hannah Marshall and David de Lautour, who is also directing. Executive producers are Marshall, de Lautour and Gareth Williams for Plus6Four Entertainment, Kelly Martin for South Pacific Pictures and Daniel March for Dynamic Television. Production is made possible with funding from NZ On Air and the NZ Screen Production Rebate.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ms. X<\/em> is set to release in 2026 on Three and ThreeNow in New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Ms. X<\/em> is a distinctive, fast-paced crime thriller that\u2019s both relentless, suspenseful and fun,\u201d said executive producer March, managing partner at Dynamic Television. \u201cMelissa George is a global star who will make Ms. X a character audiences won\u2019t soon forget.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Ms. X<\/em> is a darkly comic look into the New Zealand criminal underworld that blends our unique brand of kiwi humor with a twisting crime story, made specifically for a global audience,\u201d commented Marshall, executive producer and showrunner at Plus6Four Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Martin, executive producer of he series and CEO of South Pacific Pictures, said, \u201c<em>Ms. X<\/em> is an exciting new series from Hannah and David\u2014alongside Melissa, we have some of NZ\u2019s very best performers and practitioners, and we look forward to delivering a world class series.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Warner Bros.
