House Productions alum Harriet Spencer has joined Neal Street as executive producer, where she will help build the company\u2019s slate of original TV projects.<\/p>\n
In Neal Street’s newly created role, she will work closely with senior management to identify new voices, contribute new ideas and help continue the company’s legacy of producing high-quality content. She will work alongside Julie Pastor and Lola Oliyide to contribute to film and television development and production activity.<\/p>\n
With over 20 years of experience, Spencer has a large portfolio of high-profile projects. At House Productions, she led James Graham\u2019s Sherwood<\/em> for BBC, The Good Mothers<\/em> for Disney+ and had a development producer credit on Daniel Kokotajlo\u2019s Starve Acre<\/em>.<\/p>\n In her early career at Working Title Films, she worked on many films, including Baby Driver<\/em>, Bridget Jones\u2019s Baby<\/em>, Mary Queen of Scots<\/em>, Darkest Hour<\/em>, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy<\/em> and Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em>.<\/p>\n This year, Neal Street has announced that production has commenced on season 15 of Call the Midwife<\/em>, in co-production with PBS, and films The Magic Faraway Tree<\/em> and Hamnet<\/em>, which are in postproduction. The company is also working with Sony Pictures on the new series of Beatles biopics.
