Eagle Eye Drama’s Patience<\/em> has secured a second season on Channel 4 after season one landed 4.2 million viewers earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Channel 4’s biggest drama of 2025 so far will bring in Jessica Hynes for season two, with Ella Maisy Purvis returning for the titular role.<\/p>\n

Jo McGrath, chief creative officer at Eagle Eye Drama, said, \u201cWe\u2019re so proud of Patience<\/em>\u2019s success in the U.K. and the extended recommission is a real testament to the quality of our cast and talented crew, guided by our outstanding director Maarten Moerkerke. Series two promises to be even more action-packed, culminating with a nail-biting hostage storyline and a shocking family revelation for Patience<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Patience<\/em> is adapted from the original series Astrid & Rapha\u00eblle<\/em>, produced by JLA Productions for France TV. It is being produced in association with Happy Duck Films and is supported by the Belgian Tax Shelter.
