The BBC and ZDF have entered into a new partnership that will support producers to create ambitious scripted content for both pubcasters, with a focus on high-end drama.<\/p>\n
The PSBs have already commissioned two shows together: Honey<\/em>, a new flirty spy thriller from Sid Gentle Films, and the second season of A Good Girl\u2019s Guide to Murder<\/em>, the YA mystery thriller co-produced with Netflix and made by Moonage Pictures.<\/p>\n The collaboration aims to maximize the strengths of two of Europe\u2019s leading public service broadcasters, combining ZDF’s pan-European co-production know-how with the BBC’s track record of scripted titles. It will provide production companies with the opportunity to easily work with two major European broadcasters, creatively aligning from the outset.<\/p>\n Nadine Bilke, chief content officer at ZDF, said: \u201cThe BBC’s programming strategy is a perfect match with our goals.
