Season two will follow the aftermath of the battle between David and Goliath and David\u2019s rise to the throne, with Michael Iskander reprising the title role.<\/p>\n<p>The series comes from filmmakers and Wonder Project creative leaders Jon Erwin (<em>Jesus Revolution<\/em>,\u00a0<em>American Underdog<\/em>) and Jon Gunn (<em>Ordinary Angels<\/em>), who are returning as directors, writers and executive producers.
