The BBC has commissioned the six-part drama Grams<\/em> from creator, writer and director James Price (Dog Days<\/em>, Boys Night<\/em>).<\/p>\n

The series sees widowed Glaswegian Thana become the target of a violent local gang after the death of her beloved grandson. She finds salvation in the form of Connor, a friend of Michael\u2019s with serious anger issues. The two team up to find out what really happened to Michael.<\/p>\n

Grams<\/em> is being produced by World Productions (Vigil<\/em>, Save Me<\/em>, Line of Duty<\/em>), an ITV Studios company, in association with ITV Studios, which will be distributing the series. It is being made with the support of Screen Scotland.<\/p>\n

The six-parter will air on BBC One, BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n
