LuckyChap (<em>Barbie<\/em>, <em>Maid<\/em>) will produce under its first-look television deal with Amazon MGM Studios.<\/p>\n<p>Park\u2019s sophomore film, <em>My Old Ass<\/em>, was produced with LuckyChap and Indian Paintbrush. It debuted at Sundance and was acquired by Amazon MGM Studios. It was released in theaters before debuting on Prime Video and has since been nominated for awards from the DGA and WGA, as well as the Critics Choice Award for best comedy movie and the Independent Spirit Award for best screenplay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMegan\u2019s vision, alongside Josh, Stephanie and LuckyChap, makes<em> Sterling Point<\/em> compelling,\u201d said Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. \u201cThe series speaks to young audiences while tackling themes that we think will resonate with all age groups, and we&#8217;re looking forward to bringing their creative vision to life for our global Prime Video customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Park added, \u201cI am so thrilled to be partnering with LuckyChap and Amazon again after such an incredible journey making <em>My Old Ass<\/em> together. The trust they have in my world-building is every creator&#8217;s dream. I feel honored to be working alongside two of the best in the business, Stephanie and Josh, who are masters at their craft.
