A three-time Peabody Award winner and four-time Emmy Award winner, <em>Homicide: Life on the Street<\/em> launched in 1993 and ran for 122 episodes.<\/p>\n<p>The series became a global hit, with Fremantle selling the original in over 167 territories worldwide. It was revamped and launched in the U.S. on NBCUniversal\u2019s Peacock in August 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie Lynn, executive VP of co-production and distribution for EMEA, International, said: \u201c<em>Homicide: Life on the Street<\/em> was the first drama of its kind when it launched, and it truly set the template for the scripted television revolution that followed.
