{"id":22099,"date":"2025-01-28T09:18:24","date_gmt":"2025-01-28T14:18:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2025-01-28T13:19:36","modified_gmt":"2025-01-28T18:19:36","slug":"netflix-picks-up-plano-a-plano-bilbao-thriller-innate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/netflix-picks-up-plano-a-plano-bilbao-thriller-innate\/","title":{"rendered":"Netflix Picks Up Plano a Plano Bilbao Thriller Innate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Netflix has acquired the psychological thriller <em>Innate<\/em>, created by Plano a Plano Bilbao and produced by Innato La Serie in association with Dynamic Television, for Spain.<\/p>\n<p>From Fran Carballal (<em>Cicatriz<\/em>, <em>Una Vida Menos en Canarias<\/em>) and Enrique Lojo (<em>En Fin<\/em>, <em>Una Vida Menos en Canarias<\/em>), <em>Innate<\/em> follows Sara, a psychologist who has spent years rebuilding her life after the trauma of being the daughter of F\u00e9lix Garay, a notorious multiple murderer dubbed by the media as \u201cThe Diesel Killer.\u201d Now living an idyllic life with her husband and teenage son, Sara\u2019s world is turned upside down when F\u00e9lix is released from prison.<\/p>\n<p>The series stars Elena Anaya (<em>La Piel que Habito<\/em>, <em>Wonder Woman<\/em>, <em>Rifkin&#8217;s Festival<\/em>) and Imanol Arias (<em>Cu\u00e9ntame c\u00f3mo pas\u00f3<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>The eight-episode series is directed by Inma Torrente (<em>Valeria<\/em>, <em>Desaparecidos<\/em>) and Lino Escalera (<em>\u00c9lite<\/em>, <em>Alta Mar<\/em>). Production is set to begin in Q1 2025. Executive producers include C\u00e9sar Ben\u00edtez, Emilio Amar\u00e9, \u00c1lvaro Ben\u00edtez, Dan March and Carrie Stein.<\/p>\n<p>Dynamic Television serves as the worldwide distribution partner for <em>Innate<\/em>, marking the company\u2019s foray into Spanish-language content.
