The season one finale is set to debut on December 22.<\/p>\n<p>The ensemble cast of <em>Dune: Prophecy<\/em> includes Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Camilla Beeput, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, Yerin Ha and Barbara Marten.<\/p>\n<p>The series is inspired by the novel <em>Sisterhood of Dune<\/em>, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.<\/p>\n<p>Alison Schapker is showrunner of the series, and Anna Foerster directed multiple episodes. They both also executive produce, alongside Diane Ademu-John, Jordan Goldberg, Mark Tobey, John Cameron, Matthew King, Scott Z. Burns and Jon Spaihts. Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert are executive producers for the Frank Herbert estate.
