Television, is set to bow on Max on January 9.<\/p>\n<p>Aiming to portray the challenges facing today\u2019s healthcare workers across America, each of the 15 episodes follows an hour of Dr. Michael Robinavitch\u2019s 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in the emergency room at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital. Noah Wyle (<em>ER<\/em>, <em>The Librarian<\/em>, <em>Falling Skies<\/em>) stars in the lead role.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Wyle, the series features Tracey Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez and Katherine LaNasa.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Pitt<\/em> is created by R. Scott Gemmill, who wrote the first episode. He executives produces as well, alongside Wyle; John Wells (<em>Animal Kingdom<\/em>, <em>Shameless<\/em>, <em>The West Wing<\/em>, <em>ER<\/em>); and John Wells Productions\u2019 Erin Jontow (<em>Emperor Of Ocean Park<\/em>, <em>Rescue: HI-Surf<\/em>, <em>Maid<\/em>), Simran Baidwan (<em>Manifest<\/em>, <em>Ordinary Joe<\/em>, <em>The Good Doctor<\/em>, <em>Chicago Med<\/em>) and Michael Hissrich (<em>Shameless<\/em>, <em>The West Wing<\/em>, <em>Third Watch<\/em>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pitt, a new medical series from John Wells Productions and Warner Bros.
