The original ran for two seasons in Finland.<\/p>\n<p>The drama, about three best friends who decide to get rid of their husbands, has previously been remade in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. It is the latest scripted-format deal for All3Media International in Asia and comes on the heels of <em>Kafas<\/em>, the award-winning Indian adaptation of The Forge\u2019s <em>Dark Money<\/em>, streaming on Sony LIV. Also in India, Two Brothers Pictures\u2019 thriller <em>Liar <\/em>was adapted as <em>Marzi<\/em> for Voot and <em>Mithya<\/em>, based on Two Brothers Pictures&#8217; <em>Cheat<\/em>, recently returned to ZEE 5 for a second season. Other deals include a 30-episode commission of <em>Miss S<\/em>, a Chinese adaptation of Every Cloud Productions\u2019 <em>Miss Fisher\u2019s Murder Mysteries<\/em>, by Tencent.<\/p>\n<p>Ziran (Tony) Tang, VP of sales for Asia at All3Media International, commented, \u201cThe South Korean adaptation of <em>Black Widows<\/em> marks the seventh adaptation of the title globally. Premium scripted formats continue to be in strong demand in Asia, and we\u2019re delighted to build further on our success in the region as we head to ATF. This twist-laden female led thriller has proved its universal appeal, having already found fantastic homes around the world and we can\u2019t wait to see how the Soul Creative bring it to screen for a local audience. This latest adaptation joins an impressive slate of our scripted formats traveling to Asia and we\u2019re extremely proud to have a portfolio offering a diverse range of scripted formats developed by some of the industry\u2019s most acclaimed creative talents.
