The special will see Wilson arrive on Saint Marie to assist with a case, only for the team to discover that he may have an ulterior motive for being on the island.<\/p>\n<p>Returning to the series are Don Warrington, Shantol Jackson, Ginny Holder, \u00c9lizabeth Bourgine and Danny John-Jules, among others.<\/p>\n<p><em>Death in Paradise<\/em> is produced by Red Planet Pictures and was made with the support of the region of Guadeloupe, where it was filmed. The series is distributed internationally by BBC Studios.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am delighted to have returned to the wonderful island of Guadeloupe and this time to be stepping into the well-worn shoes of the Detective Inspector,\u201d Gilet said. \u201cIt\u2019s been a real pleasure filming such a beloved series alongside the hardworking cast and crew.
