It debuted on the Gain platform in May.<\/p>\n<p>MADD held an event in Cannes to discuss the series, with Medyap\u0131m president Fatih Aksoy and <em>RU<\/em> lead actress Meryem Uzerli, as well as MADD managing director Ate\u015f \u0130nce.<\/p>\n<p><em>Portrait of a Scandalous Family<\/em> is based on the true story of the \u015eakir Pa\u015fa dynasty, an illustrious Ottoman family shattered by scandal only to give rise to some of the 20th century\u2019s greatest artists. The cast includes Vahide G\u00f6rd\u00fcm (<em>Bitterlands<\/em>, <em>Mother<\/em>), Meryem Uzerli (<em>Magnificent Century<\/em>), F\u0131rat Tan\u0131\u015f (<em>Farah<\/em>, <em>Evermore<\/em>) and Devrim Yakut (<em>Dirty Laundry<\/em>, <em>Chrysalis<\/em>). The series is written by Hande Altayl\u0131 (Woman, Mercy) and helmed by Bahad\u0131r Karata\u015f, who directed RU. The new drama from Medyap\u0131m premieres this fall on T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s NOW network.<\/p>\n<p><em>Far Away<\/em> is the story of Alya Albora, who arrives in the border town of Albora, a small village on Mardin\u2019s Syrian border. She has come from Canada with her son, Deniz, to bury her husband, and that\u2019s when she meets his family for the first time. The Ay Yap\u0131m production is adapted from the international hit series <em>Al Hayba<\/em> by Cedars Art Production (<em>Sabbah Brothers<\/em>) and written by G\u00fclizar Irmak (<em>\u00d6mer<\/em>, <em>Time Goes By<\/em>). It features Ozan Akbaba (<em>The Father<\/em>, <em>Kuzey G\u00fcney<\/em>), Sinem \u00dcnsal (<em>A Miracle<\/em>, <em>My Little Girl<\/em>), Gonca Cilasun (<em>Street Birds<\/em>), M\u00fcfit Kayacan (<em>A Fairy Tale<\/em>, <em>Brave and Beautiful<\/em>) and Alper \u00c7ankaya (<em>The Family<\/em>, <em>Our Father<\/em>).
