{"id":21427,"date":"2024-09-20T10:03:11","date_gmt":"2024-09-20T14:03:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/heart-of-a-killer-gains-co-pro-partners\/"},"modified":"2024-09-20T10:03:33","modified_gmt":"2024-09-20T14:03:33","slug":"heart-of-a-killer-gains-co-pro-partners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/heart-of-a-killer-gains-co-pro-partners\/","title":{"rendered":"Heart of a Killer Gains Co-Pro Partners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The North Road Company and Sipur have teamed with broadcaster HOT and production company Endemol Shine Israel for the original medical thriller <em>Heart of a Killer<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The drama, from creators Gal Zaid (<em>Valley of Tears<\/em>), Roni Yaddor and Laid Shoham and directed by Evgeny Ruman (<em>East Side<\/em>), brings the global studio partners and HOT back together after their initial co-production, entitled <em>Bad Boy<\/em>. <em>Heart of a Killer<\/em> follows Dr. Dasi Nakash (Niv Sultan), a promising transplant surgeon, who turns to illicit organ harvesting after a desperate act to save a friend wronged by the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Jan David Frouman, president of North Road International, said, \u201cWe couldn\u2019t be more thrilled to have the opportunity to once again partner with Sipur and HOT to bring this incredibly compelling story from Gal, Roni, Laid, Evgeny and the entire creative team to audiences around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sipur CEO Emilio Schenker added, \u201cWe\u2019re excited to continue our rewarding relationship with North Road and HOT by reuniting for this fantastic new scripted, ready-made, high-quality format.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the last decade, we have invested more than two billion shekels in original Israeli content, and made sure that Israeli creations receive their well-deserved spot on Israeli screens and leading international stages,&#8221; said Ori Gal, senior VP of marketing and content for HOT. &#8220;We are excited about this partnership, which will bring our viewers high-end and engaging original content, which will join the lineup of HOT\u2019s upcoming original content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amir Ganor, CEO of Endemol Shine Israel, added, \u201cAt Endemol, we are proud to produce another original drama series and to be part of a fantastic project with leading creators and cast.
