Premiere"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apple TV+ has slated the premiere of its first German-language series, <em>Where\u2019s Wanda?<\/em>, for October 2.<\/p>\n<p>The eight-part series tells the story of a couple who are desperate to locate their missing 17-year-old daughter Wanda, who disappeared months prior without a trace. When the police fail to find her, the parents take matters into their own hands, obtaining surveillance devices with the help of their tech-savvy son and bugging half of their suburb.<\/p>\n<p>After this, they discover that behind closed doors, none of their neighbors are who they pretend to be.<\/p>\n<p><em>Where\u2019s Wanda?<\/em> stars Heike Makatsch (<em>Love Actually<\/em>), Axel Stein (<em>The Vault<\/em>), Lea Drinda (<em>The Gryphon<\/em>), Leo Simon, Nikeata Thompson (<em>How to Dad<\/em>), Palina Rojinski (<em>Welcome to Germany<\/em>), Kostja Ullmann (<em>My Blind Date With Life<\/em>) and Harriet Herbig-Matten (<em>Maxton Hall<\/em>), as well as Devid Striesow (<em>All Quiet on the Western Front<\/em>), Jasmin Shakeri (<em>The Magic Flute<\/em>) and Joachim Kr\u00f3l (<em>The Most Desired Man<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Produced by UFA Fiction, the series is created, written and executive produced by Oliver Lansley (<em>Flack<\/em>), alongside Nataly Kudiabor (<em>Arthur\u2019s Law<\/em>) and Sebastian Werninger (<em>The Physician<\/em>). It is co-created by Zoltan Spirandelli (<em>Vaya con Dios<\/em>) and based on a story by Spirandelli. Christian Ditter (<em>How to be Single<\/em>) and Tobi Baumann (<em>Faking Hitler<\/em>) directed the series.<\/p>\n<p>The first two episodes of <em>Where\u2019s Wanda?<\/em> will premiere on October 2.
