Hall, who starred in the original <em>Dexter<\/em> series, is returning to the franchise for the all-new <em>Dexter: Resurrection<\/em> and the previously announced <em>Dexter: Original Sin<\/em> origin story.<\/p>\n<p>Hall will return as Dexter Morgan in both series. He will star in <em>Dexter: Resurrection<\/em>, set in the present day, and narrate the inner voice of a young Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) in <em>Dexter: Original Sin<\/em>, which takes place in the 1990s.<\/p>\n<p>Hall will also serve as EP <em>alongside executive producer and showrunner Clyde Phillips <\/em>(<i>Dexter, Nurse Jackie<\/i>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Dexter<\/em> originally premiered in the fall of 2006 on Showtime and ran for eight seasons. In 2021, <em>Dexter: New Blood<\/em> premiered, a limited series set ten years after the conclusion of the original.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to have the brilliant Michael C.
