{"id":21151,"date":"2024-07-24T09:20:09","date_gmt":"2024-07-24T13:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/greek-adaptation-for-gran-hotel\/"},"modified":"2024-07-24T10:32:03","modified_gmt":"2024-07-24T14:32:03","slug":"greek-adaptation-for-gran-hotel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/greek-adaptation-for-gran-hotel\/","title":{"rendered":"Greek Adaptation for Gran Hotel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JK Productions, part of Kapa Studios, has acquired the rights to make a Greek version of the Spanish series <em>Gran Hotel<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The local version of <em>Gran Hotel<\/em> is slated to premiere in September on Antenna in Greece, with 150 episodes that will air four days per week. <em>Gran Hotel<\/em> originally aired in Spain from 2011 to 2013 and has been adapted in several countries worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Originally produced by Bamb\u00fa Producciones in Spain, the series is set in an early 20th-century aristocratic hotel and centers on the mysteries involving the owner&#8217;s family and hotel servants.<\/p>\n<p>Giannis Karagiannis, CEO of JK Productions, said: <em>\u201cGran Hotel<\/em> is a fascinating story and a proven success around the world, and we are now happy to adapt it for the Greek market.
