While Benedict is the lead, the new season will continue th storylines of Violet Bridgerton, Anthony and Kate Bridgerton, Colin and Penelope Bridgerton, Eloise Bridgerton, Francesca and John Sterling and many more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBenedict has always been a little lost\u2014or free, depending on the way you want to look at it,\u201d Thompson said. \u201cBut now he&#8217;s trying to find something a bit more solid in himself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s a charming man who\u2019s trying to find his way,\u201d said executive producer Shonda Rhimes. \u201cHe\u2019s very delightful and funny. I\u2019m excited for everybody to watch him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Showrunner Jess Brownell added, \u201cIt felt important for him to explore the fullness of himself before he settles down. He is someone who has big appetites, and we wanted to see him living a big life before he goes into settle-down mode. I\u2019m excited for where we\u2019re going with him in season four.
