Since then, undercover Citadel agent Diana Cavalieri has been trapped behind enemy lines as a mole. When she finally finds a way out, she must trust an unexpected ally\u2014the heir of Manticore Italy and son of the head of the organization.<\/p>\n<p><em>Citadel: Diana<\/em> stars Matilda De Angelis (<em>The Undoing<\/em>) as Diana Cavalieri. She is joined in the cast by Lorenzo Cervasio, Maurizio Lombardi, Julia Piaton, Thekla Reuten, Giordana Faggiano, Daniele Paoloni, Bernhard Sch\u00fctz and Filippo Nigro.<\/p>\n<p>The new six-part series is directed by Arnaldo Catinari and developed by Alessandro Fabbri, who is also the head writer. Fabbri wrote the series with Ilaria Bernardini, Gianluca Bernardini, Laura Colella and Giordana Mari. Gina Gardini serves as showrunner. She also executive produces, alongside Riccardo Tozzi, Marco Chimenz, Giovanni Stabilini and Emanuele Savoini. Midnight Radio also executive produce.<\/p>\n<p>Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot and Scott Nemes from AGBO, alongside David Weil (<em>Hunters<\/em>), executive produce <em>Citadel: Diana<\/em> and all series within the world of <em>Citadel<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Citadel<\/em>, which premiered in 2023, starred Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville. It became Prime Video\u2019s second most-watched new original series outside of the U.S. and the fourth most-watched worldwide. It was the first in a range of series that will evolve the story of the spy agency Citadel and its enemy syndicate Manticore.<\/p>\n<p>Each series born from the world of <em>Citadel<\/em> will star top local talent and will be created, produced and filmed in region. <em>Citadel: Diana<\/em> is the second series to debut in the franchise. It will be followed by India\u2019s<em> Citadel: Honey Bunny<\/em>, starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
