When they get caught up in the city\u2019s criminal underworld, they must figure out how to stay alive, out of prison and in the black.<\/p>\n<p><em>Sunny Nights<\/em> also stars Rachel House (<em>Hunt for the Wilderpeople<\/em>, <em>Heartbreak High<\/em>), Jessica De Gouw (<em>C*A*U*G*H*T<\/em>, <em>The Drover\u2019s Wife<\/em>), Megan Wilding (<em>Gold Diggers<\/em>, <em>Mystery Road: Origin<\/em>), Ra Chapman (<em>White Fever<\/em>, <em>Wentworth<\/em>), Miritana Hughes (<em>Wakefield<\/em>, <em>Preacher<\/em>), George Mason (<em>Exposure<\/em>, <em>Black Snow<\/em>, <em>The Power of the Dog<\/em>), Matuse (<em>Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga<\/em>, <em>The Fall Guy<\/em>) and former professional rugby league footballer Willie Mason in his debut role.<\/p>\n<p>The series is produced by Jungle Entertainment and Echo Lake Entertainment in association with Cineflix Rights. It received major production investment from Stan and Screen Australia, with financial support from Screen NSW through the Made in NSW Fund. Cineflix Rights is handling international distribution.<\/p>\n<p>The series is created by the writing team Nick Keetch and Ty Freer (<em>High Fire<\/em>, <em>Almost Paradise<\/em>). Episodes are written by Keetch, Freer, Marieke Hardy (<em>Heartbreak High<\/em>), Lally Katz (<em>Wentworth<\/em>), Clare Sladden (<em>Eden<\/em>) and Niki Aken (<em>The Newsreader<\/em>).
