Season nine is currently airing on PBS on Sundays through August 4.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Green and Nair, other returning cast members include Al Weaver, Tessa Peake-Jones, Kacey Ainsworth, Oliver Dimsdale, Nick Brimble, Bradley Hall and Melissa Johns.<\/p>\n<p><em>Grantchester<\/em>, one of MASTERPIECE\u2019s longest running series, is a co-production of Kudos and MASTERPIECE for ITV. It airs on MASTERPIECE on PBS in the U.S. and on ITV1 and ITVX in the U.K. In the U.S., it is also available to stream on the PBS app, PBS website and the PBS MASTERPIECE Prime Video Channel. Banijay Rights handles international distribution for the series.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t be happier to recommission <em>Grantchester<\/em> for a tenth season,\u201d said Susanne Simpson, executive producer for MASTERPIECE. \u201cThis is hands-down one of our most popular series, and I know the fans will be thrilled to see it continue with the outstanding Robson Green and Rishi Nair back for more crime-solving.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis show is a testament to our lovely team\u2014the cast and crew,\u201d commented Daisy Coulam, writer and executive producer. \u201cI\u2019m so grateful and proud that we get to come back together for our tenth season and another glorious summer in Grantchester!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Emma Kingsman-Lloyd, executive producer, added, \u201cWe are so delighted by the audience reaction to <em>Grantchester<\/em> and appreciate that they have enjoyed so many episodes.
