{"id":20750,"date":"2024-05-08T10:09:42","date_gmt":"2024-05-08T14:09:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/ace-entertainment-bringing-miranda-green-mystery-titles-to-cannes\/"},"modified":"2024-05-08T10:30:09","modified_gmt":"2024-05-08T14:30:09","slug":"ace-entertainment-bringing-miranda-green-mystery-titles-to-cannes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/ace-entertainment-bringing-miranda-green-mystery-titles-to-cannes\/","title":{"rendered":"ACE Entertainment Films Adds to Miranda Green Mystery Franchise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ACE Entertainment Films is producing two new titles for the <em>Miranda Green Mystery<\/em> franchise: <em>Murder at the Embassy<\/em> and <em>The Mystery of the Golden Spear<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Mischa Barton (<em>Neighbours<\/em>, <em>The OC<\/em>), who starred in the initial 2023 film <em>Invitation to a Murder<\/em>, returns as Miranda Green, a florist-turned-private detective who loves Agatha Christie\u2019s stories. <em>Murder at the Embassy<\/em> is set for delivery in the first quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Mystery of the Golden Spear<\/em>, set in the South African savannah, is set to begin shooting in January 2025, with delivery in summer 2025.<\/p>\n<p><em>Invitation to a Murder<\/em> is available in over 100 countries worldwide and is streaming on top platforms, including Apple TV+ in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been thrilled by the global response to<em> Invitation to a Murder<\/em>,\u201d said Marielle Zuccarelli, president of global sales at ACE Entertainment Films. \u201cInspired by the works of Agatha Christie and the whodunit genre, we have set out to create a mystery franchise that is timeless while also appealing to contemporary audiences.
