They make up a multinational task force that keeps naval crimes in check.<\/p>\n<p>Production will begin shortly. The renewal coincides with a season two order by CBS in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Endemol Shine Australia for CBS Studios and Paramount Australia and distributed outside Australia by Paramount Global Content Distribution, <em>NCIS: Sydney<\/em> season one is streaming now on Paramount+ in New Zealand, the U.S., the U.K., South Korea, Canada, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. It will be available later this year in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Rick Maier, Paramount ANZ\u2019s creative advisor for drama, said: \u201cThis is such a powerful acknowledgment of both the great work and the wonderful audience response for season one. We\u2019re thrilled to be going again with our brilliant cast, story team, crew and the best backdrop we know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lindsay Martin, head of international co-productions and development at CBS Studios, commented: \u201cWe are ecstatic over the warm welcome<em> NCIS: Sydney<\/em> received in its freshman season. The success of our first international expansion of the franchise further demonstrates the strength and global demand for this iconic IP. We can\u2019t wait for fans to spend more time with these characters and see what new stories this wonderful creative team has in store for season two.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Morgan O\u2019Neill, executive producer and showrunner for Endemol Shine Australia, added: \u201cWe\u2019re beyond stoked with the response to the first season of the show, both in Australia and around the world, and that the team at <em>NCIS: Sydney<\/em> is returning for a second season.
