When several of them are murdered, officer Hanne Wilhelmsen begins to investigate, despite being temporarily suspended from the police.<\/p>\n<p><em>Blind Spot<\/em> is being produced by Nordic Drama Queens in co-production with Amazon MGM Studios and in association with Fifth Season. The script is written by Sara Heldt (<em>Sandhamn Murders<\/em>, <em>The Death of a Pilgrim<\/em>), together with Erik Skjoldberg (<em>Occupied<\/em>, <em>Narvik<\/em>). Skjoldberg is also directing all four episodes of the series.<\/p>\n<p>Ida Engvoll (<em>Love and Anarchy<\/em>) is starring in the lead role as detective Hanne Wilhemsen, and she ism owned by cast members P\u00e5l Sverre Hagen (<em>Exit<\/em>, <em>Kon-Tiki<\/em>), Kjell Bergqvist (<em>B\u00e4ckstr\u00f6m<\/em>, <em>30 Degrees in February<\/em>) and Sissela Kyle (<em>Fr\u00f6ken Frimans krig<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Blind Spot<\/em> is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in the Nordics in early 2025. Fifth Season is handling global distribution of the series outside of the Nordics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have been longing to see Hanne Wilhelmsen on screen for years,\u201d said Sandra Harms, producer and co-founder of Nordic Drama Queens. \u201cShe is an extremely unique character, as her wittiness is combined with a sharp mind and extraordinary ability to read people\u2014but she\u2019s not always aware of how her own behavior is perceived by others.
