{"id":20322,"date":"2024-03-13T10:12:13","date_gmt":"2024-03-13T14:12:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/boat-rocker-sells-beacon-23-worldwide\/"},"modified":"2024-03-13T10:12:20","modified_gmt":"2024-03-13T14:12:20","slug":"boat-rocker-sells-beacon-23-worldwide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/boat-rocker-sells-beacon-23-worldwide\/","title":{"rendered":"Boat Rocker Sells Beacon 23 Worldwide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Boat Rocker has inked a raft of international sales for its sci-fi thriller series <em>Beacon 23<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Produced and distributed globally by Boat Rocker, the eight-episode first season has been acquired by Prime Video for Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Sub-Saharan Africa; Paramount (Channel 5, My5, Paramount+) for the U.K. and Ireland; PCCW Media (Now Studio) for Hong Kong and Macau; and Disney (Star) for Bulgaria and the Balkans.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the best-selling book by Hugh Howey, <em>Beacon 23<\/em> takes place in the farthest reaches of the Milky Way and follows Aster (Lena Headey), a government agent, and Halan (Stephan James), a stoic ex-military man, whose fates become entangled.<\/p>\n<p>The first season is set to premiere on Prime Video in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand on March 15.
