DCI Jeanette Kilburn teams up with a psychotherapist despite opposition from her superiors, and they uncover a chain of shocking events that have gone overlooked for decades, as well as evidence of police corruption.<\/p>\n<p>As the body count rises and the two women are dragged deeper into the darkness of the case, an intimacy forms between them and a complex, twisted love story takes place.<\/p>\n<p>Eve Myles (<em>Hijack<\/em>, <em>Broadchurch<\/em>, <em>A Very English Scandal<\/em>) stars as DCI Jeanette Kilburn opposite Katherine Kelly (<em>Mr Bates vs the Post Office<\/em>, <em>Liar<\/em>, <em>Inside No.9<\/em>) as psychotherapist Sophia Craven. Dougray Scott (<em>Irvine Welsh\u2019s Crime<\/em>, <em>Vigil<\/em>) plays DI Lou Stanley.<\/p>\n<p>The cast also includes Clara Rugaard (<em>I am Mother<\/em>, <em>Press Play<\/em>, <em>The Rising<\/em>), Victoria Hamilton (<em>COBRA<\/em>, <em>The Crown<\/em>, <em>Life<\/em>), Elliot Edusah (<em>Django<\/em>, <em>1917<\/em>, <em>Pirates<\/em>), Chloe Sweetlove (<em>My Husband\u2019s Double Life<\/em>, <em>Tutankhamun<\/em>, <em>Our Fathers<\/em>) and Lee Boardman (<em>Enola Holmes 2<\/em>, <em>Andor<\/em>, <em>Outlander<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Milly Thomas adapted the series for the screen. Charles Martin and Rebecca Rycroft are both directors of the series. ITV Studios will distribute <em>The Crow Girl<\/em> internationally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJeanette is such a compelling character,\u201d Myles said. \u201cAs soon as I read the script, I knew I wanted to explore her story in more detail.
