A young Swiss nurse gets caught between them as she does everything she can to win back her illegitimate daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Global Screen has also sold the series to RTP in Portugal and Filmin in Spain and Portugal. These deals are in addition to the recently announced sales to Mediaset in Italy, MTV A in Hungary and ORF in Austria. The six-parter debuted in December on SRF in Switzerland and ARD in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Davos 1917<\/em> cast features Dominique Devenport (<em>Sisi<\/em>), David Kross (<em>The Reader<\/em>), Jeanette Hain (<em>Never Look Away<\/em>), Max Herbrechter (<em>Rauhn\u00e4chte<\/em>), Sunnyi Melles (<em>Triangle of Sadness<\/em>) and Stipe Erceg (<em>Vienna Blood<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>The series is created in German and Swiss-German with English subtitles and is dubbed in French and Italian. It is produced by Contrast Film, Letterbox Filmproduktion, Amalia Film, SRF and ARD Degeto.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very proud to be representing <em>Davos 1917<\/em>, and it is a real pleasure to announce a significant North American sale at this early stage,\u201d said Brianne Bonney, head of TV sales at Global Screen. \u201cIt is a lavishly produced and emotionally charged series set against the stunning backdrop of the Alps.
