Detectives soon realize that Jack was actually murdered. Dark secrets come to light as the investigation gets under way and each family member vies for a piece of Jack\u2019s legacy.<\/p>\n<p>Nikki Amuka-Bird (<em>Citadel<\/em>, <em>Hard Sun<\/em>), John Simm (<em>Grace<\/em>, <em>Crime<\/em>) and Gemma Jones (<em>Gentleman Jack<\/em>, <em>Finding Alice<\/em>) are set to star. The series will be directed by Tom Vaughan (<em>Doctor Foster<\/em>, <em>The Flight Attendant<\/em>) and produced by Nickie Sault (<em>The Outlaws<\/em>, <em>The Virtues<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>I, Jack Wright<\/em> has already presold to Scandinavian public broadcasters Yle, DK, NRK and SRK. It is set to air in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChris Lang has delivered a gripping story of the devastating impact that patriarch Jack Wright\u2019s will has on his shocked and feuding family,\u201d said Hilary Rosen, director of commissioning at UKTV. \u201cWe are thrilled to be working with Chris and the team at Federation Stories on this fresh, modern and dark family drama.
