Red Arrow Studios International has acquired the distribution rights for three scripted series from Finnish production company Yellow Film & TV.<\/p>\n
This includes Forgiven<\/em>, based on Laura Manninen\u2019s semiautobiographical novel Kaikki Anteeksi<\/em>. The four-part series centers on the themes of love, domestic violence, shame and the culture of silence that keeps stories like these behind closed doors.<\/p>\n Forgiven <\/em>was written by by Antti Heikki Pesonen. It was launched in Finland on Elisa Viihde on November 13, 2023.<\/p>\n Red Arrow Studios International also picked up 66 North Precinct<\/em>, which is set in Lapland in the world\u2019s largest police precinct and is inspired by true crimes from the region. It follows ex world champion boxer-turned-detective inspector Maria Pudas as she solves cases all over the unforgiving but beautiful landscape with her partner.<\/p>\n 66 North Precinct<\/em> is produced by Yellow Film & TV Oy for Yle and written by Timo Varpio, Tiina Tanskanen and Juha Karvanen. It premiered in Finland in March 2023 on Yle and was also a hit on Yle Areena. It has already been commissioned for a second season.<\/p>\n The third scripted Yellow Film & TV series to be distributed by Red Arrow Studios International is The Laws of Man<\/em>, set in and around courtrooms and two very different law offices in Helsinki. It weaves together fascinating cases, comical human stories and contemporary societal issues with a story about family and marriage.
