A+E Media Group is distributing the series worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The international cast features Natascha McElhone (<em>Ronan<\/em>, <em>Califonication<\/em>, <em>The Truman Show<\/em>, <em>The Crown<\/em>) Celine Buckens (<em>Showtrial<\/em>, <em>The Ex-Wife<\/em>, <em>War Horse<\/em>), Felix Mayr (<em>Unorthodox<\/em>), Gregg Sulkin (<em>World on Fire<\/em>, <em>Marvel\u2019s Runaways<\/em>), Gr\u00e9gory Montel (<em>Call My Agent<\/em>, <em>Transatlantic<\/em>), Karel Roden (<em>A Spy Amongst Friends<\/em>, <em>Bourne Supremacy<\/em>), Cassiop\u00e9e Mayance (<em>Antigang La rel\u00e8ve<\/em>, <em>The Clearstream Affair<\/em>,<em> La Mante<\/em>), Martha Canga Antonio (<em>Lupin<\/em>) and Ralph Amoussou (<em>Transatlantic<\/em>, <em>Marianne<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>The Kollective<\/em> is created by Leonardo Fasoli (<em>Gomorrah<\/em>, <em>ZeroZeroZero<\/em>), Maddalena Ravagli (<em>Gomorrah<\/em>) and Submarine\u2019s co-CEO Femke Wolting. It is written by Fasoli and Ravagli.<\/p>\n<p>The European Alliance, including France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions (France), Rai Fiction (Italy) and ZDF (Germany), and Hulu (U.S.) will premiere the series in 2025. Videoland will air the series in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe made this series to highlight the bravery of the individuals who will do everything in their power to protect each other and the society around them, even in a time of political turmoil,\u201d Wolting said. \u201cWith a fantastic creative team and cast to match, this series is equal parts thrilling, entertaining and driving important conversations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe love investigating what is happening in the world around us and tackling difficult questions through our work,\u201d Fasoli commented. \u201cWe feel like the battle for truth against fake news is the battle of our time. It\u2019s a fight for the millennial generation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Director and executive producer Assaf Bernstein said, \u201cI\u2019m honored to be a part of <em>The Kollective<\/em>, an exciting geo-political thriller as well as a cry for activism in our post-truth world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to be working with Submarine and the European Alliance on The Kollective,\u201d said Patrick Vien, group managing director of A+E International. \u201cWe are also delighted that Hulu will air the series exclusively in the United States. This nuanced, action-packed story is a perfect representation of A+E\u2019s commitment to create impactful stories with resonant contemporary themes that captivate global audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The European Alliance added, \u201cAs a group of European public broadcasters, the European Alliance wishes to offer to our viewers programs that are at the same time demanding and entertaining. <em>The Kollective<\/em> is a highly thrilling and captivating series that addresses a reality that all countries face nowadays: When intentionally deceptive news goes viral, [it can] influence millions and threaten democracies.
