It will begin airing weekly on February 5.<\/p>\n<p><em>Doctor Foster<\/em> was originally written and created by Mike Bartlett and produced by Drama Republic. It centers around a trusted doctor whose life implodes when she suspects her husband of having an affair. The format has been adapted in various markets, including Japan, South Korea, France, Turkey, the Philippines and Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to work with Mark\u00edza Group to bring this incredibly captivating format to audiences in Slovakia,\u201d said Andr\u00e9 Renaud, senior VP of global format sales for BBC Studios. \u201cAlmost ten years since its original U.K. broadcast, <em>Doctor Foster<\/em> continues to find new life and audiences around the world, which is testament to the powerful storyline and the depiction of complex characters.
